We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Assembler to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will assemble precision mechanical and electromechanical components while following established manufacturing procedures, quality standards, and safety protocols. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with assembly experience who enjoy working with small, intricate components in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities
- Assemble small mechanical and electromechanical components according to work instructions and specifications.
- Review shop travelers, route cards, blueprints, and schematic drawings to verify assembly sequences.
- Use microscopes, tweezers, and precision fixtures to position and assemble miniature components.
- Adjust, align, bend, and solder fine wires to resistors and other components.
- Bond and seal assemblies using epoxies, curing ovens, and heating equipment.
- Perform in-process inspections and testing to ensure product quality.
- Safely operate hand tools, light manufacturing equipment, and assembly fixtures.
- Follow all company safety policies, quality standards, and production procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Support additional production tasks as assigned.
- Maintain reliable attendance and flexibility to work overtime, evenings, or weekends when required.
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 1–2 years of production or manufacturing assembly experience.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and manufacturing documentation.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Excellent manual dexterity with the ability to work on very small components.
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to safely use hand tools and light manufacturing equipment.
Preferred
- Aerospace manufacturing experience.
- Sewing or fine assembly experience.
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Vocational training, apprenticeship, or related technical education.
