Position Summary
The Service Plumber is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and installing residential plumbing systems while delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires the ability to educate homeowners on repair options and confidently sell services that meet their needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair residential plumbing systems
- Install plumbing fixtures, water heaters, and related systems
- Present repair and replacement options to customers
- Sell plumbing services and solutions based on customer needs
- Provide accurate estimates and explanations of work
- Maintain a clean and professional job site
- Complete service documentation and invoices accurately
- Ensure compliance with local codes and safety standards
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of residential plumbing experience
- Valid California State Plumbing License
- Ability and willingness to sell services to customers
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Clean background check
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently
