Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position requiring dual proficiency in both Epic and Cerner, with a CA RN license, for an 8-week Epic conversion contract.

- Operating Room (OR) setting
- Day shift, 8-hour shifts
- 8-week contract supporting an Epic EMR conversion
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required, unrestricted and in good standing
- Certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and PALS (AHA)
- Minimum 3 years of OR nursing experience required
- Epic experience required — minimum 6 months of Epic experience within the last 12 months
- Cerner experience required, with demonstrated proficiency
- Candidates with a prior hit on their nursing license will not be considered
- Two supervisor references required: one from the past year (preferably most recent employer) and one from within the past two years
- Date of birth and Social Security Number required for consideration
Additional Information
- This is an Epic conversion contract, supporting the facility's transition to Epic EMR
- No RTO (time off) will be approved during this contract — candidates with more than 5 days of RTO requested will be automatically declined
- Candidates must have worked in the OR specialty within the last 3 months
- All employment gaps of one month or longer must be documented and explained in work history
