Step into a rewarding role supporting young learners as a Paraprofessional at one of several thriving elementary schools north of San Francisco. Ten dedicated individuals are needed for full-time Instructional Aide positions for the 2026–2027 school year. You’ll play an essential part in the classroom, providing encouragement and support to students in general education settings. Assignments are available with age groups ranging from Transitional Kindergarten through 5th grade, across multiple welcoming campuses. Daily assignments may include both academic support and hands-on assistance with daily care needs, including toileting.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Experience as a Paraprofessional or classroom aide, especially in elementary settings
- Comfort working with young children (ages 4–11), including those requiring help with basic self-care
- Fulfilling all required Paraprofessional training and certification before start; willingness to complete additional district training as needed
- Reliable transportation to one of five campus sites; awareness of potential bridge toll costs from outlying areas
- Flexible, compassionate, and eager to work collaboratively with teachers and staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students directly in classrooms as directed by lead teachers
- Assist with the facilitation of learning activities and classroom routines
- Provide one-on-one or small group support academically or behaviorally
- Supervise and aid children as needed during arrival, dismissal, lunch, recess, or transitions
- Help with toileting/diapering and promote students’ independence in self-care
