Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, or a related field, Adapted Physical Education (APE) certification, and 1+ years Adaptive PE Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract opportunity, beginning August 6, 2026, through June 4, 2027, invites a passionate and credentialed Adaptive Physical Education Teacher to consult with two school sites—serving a small caseload of just 2 to 3 students each week.
This highly flexible, part-time virtual position (up to 2 hours per week) is ideal for professionals seeking to balance impactful work with other commitments. Your expertise and guidance will help ensure students receive individualized, adaptive physical education designed to foster inclusion, promote movement, and empower growth.
Qualifications:
- Current Adaptive Physical Education credentials
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric adaptive PE preferred
- Strong background with virtual instruction platforms
- Ability to individualize and implement student IEPs effectively
- Excellent communication and consultative skills
- Dedication to fostering positive student outcomes in a remote environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide adaptive PE consult services for 2–3 students virtually
- Design, adapt, and monitor individualized physical education plans
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student progress
- Attend virtual IEP and team meetings as needed
- Track progress and maintain detailed documentation in accordance with school and legal requirements
