Degree in American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1+ year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Desired Qualifications:
- Valid 4.0 EIPA (Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment) score or higher—required
- Demonstrated proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
- Previous experience as a sign language interpreter in educational settings is preferred
- Professionalism, discretion, and the ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong interpersonal skills and a flexible, adaptable attitude
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret classroom instruction, discussions, and activities between Deaf or hard-of-hearing students and their peers, teachers, and staff
- Accurately convey information in various school settings, including classrooms, assemblies, meetings, and extracurricular activities
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support students’ learning goals and accommodations
- Adhere to ethical standards and maintain respect for all individuals’ privacy and dignity
- Participate in team meetings and professional development to stay current with best practices in educational interpreting
