We are recruiting a Sit-Down propane Forklift Driver to join our team! Your position will focus on safe and efficient movement of products and materials. Scheduled is Monday-Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm including overtime!
Responsibilities:

Equipment Operation: Operating the forklift in accordance with safety protocols, including starting, steering, and stopping the vehicle, as well as raising and lowering the forks.

Inspection and Maintenance: Conducting pre-shift inspections to ensure the forklift is in good working condition. Reporting any issues or malfunctions to the maintenance team and performing basic maintenance tasks.

Load Securing: Ensuring that loads are properly balanced and secured on the forks to prevent shifting or falling during transport. This may involve using straps, chains, or other securing devices.

Warehouse Organization: Organizing and storing materials in designated areas, ensuring that pathways are clear and that materials are easily accessible.

Inventory Management: Assisting with inventory counts and tracking the movement of materials within the warehouse.

Safety Compliance: Following all safety guidelines and protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to weight limits for the forklift and forks.

Communication: Coordinating with other warehouse staff and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and address any issues or concerns.

Loading and Unloading: Loading and unloading trucks or storage areas with extended forks, ensuring that loads are placed accurately and securely.
Qualifications:
- Experience in general labor
- One year of experience on the sit-down forklift Propane
- Familiarity with forklift, or other industrial vehicles
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong work ethic
- willing to do overtime
- Must be Bilingual - Spanish/English
- Must be OSHA certified
