We have an exciting opportunity to work as a Greenhouse Technician in the Hollister area!
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting greenhouse operations by performing various duties including watering, fertilization and cleaning of greenhouse inventory. This position requires an understanding of greenhouse protocols.
Job Duties:
- Water and fertilize plants using irrigation systems
- Maintain plants by trimming and removing dead material
- Washing pots and trays, occasionally washing lab glassware
- Assist in cleaning and treating seed
- Picking fruit in the field and sorting berries
- Collect and record data
- Driving a couple miles to field to pick up berries and bring back to lab
Pay: $17/HR.
Shift: Morning; Monday – Friday
Must Have:
- Valid drivers license
- Basic computer skills
