Job DescriptionJob Title: Concrete Cutter / Laborer Position Summary
The Concrete Cutter / Laborer is responsible for assisting with and performing concrete cutting, coring, drilling, and removal activities on commercial and residential job sites. This position requires physical labor, attention to safety, and the ability to work efficiently as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities

Operate concrete cutting equipment including:
- Walk-behind saws
- Hand saws
- Core drilling machines
- Wall and wire saws (as applicable)

Measure, mark, and layout areas for cutting according to job specifications

Assist in concrete removal, debris cleanup, and site preparation

Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment

Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on tools

Follow all OSHA and company safety protocols at all times

Work closely with supervisors and crew members to complete jobs on schedule

Maintain a clean and organized job site
Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction, concrete cutting, demolition, or general labor preferred
- Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and perform physically demanding work
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Basic understanding of construction safety practices
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Ability to read tape measures and follow instructions
Preferred Skills (but not required)
- Experience with core drilling or slab sawing
- Familiarity with blueprints or layout work
- CDL or equipment operation experience
Work Environment
- Construction job sites (commercial, industrial, residential)
- Exposure to dust, noise, and heavy equipment
- Frequent standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive motion
