Job DescriptionAbout the Role:Join the LAOFS team and assist in providing world class patient care in a modern, clean, and collaborative environment.&nbsp; Looking for assistants who are patient obsessed and absolutely love providing supreme service to both surgeon and patients!&nbsp; Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Assist surgeon. Experience in IV sedation, wisdom teeth, dental implants strongly recommended</li>
<li>Sterilize and prepare surgical armamentarium</li>
<li>Monitor vitals, fill out anesthesia flow sheets</li>
<li>Provide post op instructions for patients</li>
<li>Schedule follow up appointments</li>
<li>Comply with safety and infection control</li>
<li>Be able to answer patient questions</li>
<li>Be willing to learn!!!</li>
<li>Have a great attitude in the face of mistakes</li>
</ul>
Requirements:
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent; dental assisting certification preferred.</li>
<li>Previous experience as an oral surgery assistant</li>
<li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.</li>
<li>Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems. We use Sensei Cloud.</li>
<li>Current CPR certification required.</li>
<li>Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.</li>
