Associate Attorney - Litigation / Transactional

Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Associate Attorney to join our San Diego office. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who is passionate about practicing law, eager to develop into a lead attorney, and interested in a clear path toward partnership.
The ideal candidate will have litigation experience and a strong desire to take ownership of complex legal matters while working closely with experienced attorneys and clients.
Responsibilities

Manage and support a variety of civil litigation matters.

Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and legal memoranda.

Draft and respond to written discovery.

Take and defend depositions.

Participate in court appearances, mediations, and trials.

Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.

Handle transactional matters, including contract drafting and business-related legal work, for candidates interested in a hybrid practice.
Qualifications

Active California Bar License (Required).

Prior litigation experience preferred.

Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.

Experience with depositions, discovery, and trial preparation is highly desirable.

Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
