Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Location: Orange, CA
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule
- Day Shift: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- 5 x 8-hour shifts (Monday – Friday)
- No weekends or holidays required
- Optional on-call opportunities available (not required)
Compensation
- Travel: $74 – $78/hour ($2,960 – $3,120/week)
- Local: $55 – $60/hour ($2,062 – $2,250/week)

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join a high-performing acute care hospital team. The technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including PET scans, while ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine diagnostic procedures, including PET scans.
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals according to protocols.
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning during procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation using EMR systems.
- Follow radiation safety and quality assurance standards.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience.
- Prior travel experience preferred (candidates with 2+ years may be considered).
- Current BLS certification.
- Active California State Nuclear Medicine License.
- Certification required: NMTCB or ARRT (Nuclear Medicine).
- Experience or willingness to perform PET scans (training provided if needed).
