An Order Picker plays a crucial role in warehouse operations by efficiently selecting and preparing products for shipment. This position involves handling inventory accurately and maintaining safety standards. The role ensures smooth order fulfillment using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems.
Environment
Dry or Cooler department. Must be open to working in both departments.
Schedule and Pay
10am or 12pm start time. Must be open to working Sundays. $19 an hour.
Responsibilities
- Operating electric pallet jack
- Pick and prepare orders accurately using RF scanners and WMS
- Manage inventory and perform stock replenishment as needed
- Handle materials safely using equipment such as electric pallet jacks
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure order accuracy
- Prepare shipments and maintain proper record keeping
- Comply with all safety regulations and operational procedures
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in inventory management and order fulfillment
- Proficiency in material handling and forklift operation (EPJ)
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
