Mechanical Project Manager - HVAC/Plumbing
Location: Gardena, CA
Salary: $120K-$225K base (salary depends on experience)
A leading mechanical contractor is seeking a full-time Project Manager to oversee the execution of large and complex HVAC and Plumbing construction projects, including project planning, budgeting, scheduling, management, and delivery. Our engineering and construction management teams work in some of the most iconic buildings in Los Angeles, delivering projects across strategic Aerospace, Education, Entertainment, Healthcare, and Transportation sectors.
Responsibilities:
Demonstrate extensive knowledge of commercial HVAC and/or Plumbing systems
Oversee all aspects of construction projects from planning through project delivery
Establish project objectives, completion milestones, procedures, and performance standards
Manage financial aspects of the contract, including but not limited to financial forecasting, manpower forecasting, job cost tracking, preparing monthly billings, etc
Meet or exceed gross profit goals stated in the project budget
Set up a workable schedule for job cost control, labor, material, equipment, and subcontractors
Set up a pre-planning meeting with internal project stakeholders
Work with the Purchasing Department on all equipment and material buyouts
Desired Characteristics:
- Proven experience with ground-up mechanical projects with commercial HVAC and or Plumbing systems in projects greater than $5M
- Has tackled ground-up mechanical projects in Commercial or Industrial projects
- Other projects include Mission Critical, Data Center Healthcare, Retail, Education, and Laboratory
