Escondido Christian Preschool is seeking a faith based, energetic, nurturing, positive, patient teacher who loves Jesus and is passionate about working with children and teaching them about Him. We are a team of teachers who love the Lord and would love to have you join our team!
Responsibilities and duties include instructing and supervising children based on structured lesson planning and supporting classroom expectations set forth by the Christian preschool program. Daily lesson plans would be written to create routines and a safe, fun learning environment for the children. Planned activities would meet spiritual, emotional, physical, social and intellectual needs. Daily/weekly communication with parents is essential and bi-yearly assessments would be done to support each individual child’s needs.
Requirements: As required by licensing, 12 post-secondary semester or equivalent quarter units in early childhood education or child development education completed, with passing grades, at an accredited or approved college or university; and at least 6 months of work experience in a licensed child care center or comparable group child care program for children under five years of age.
