Job DescriptionCaregiver I – Adult Day Health Center
Pay: $24.00–$26.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Contract: 3+ Months with Potential for Extension
Openings: 1
Setting: Adult Day Health Center
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Caregiver I to support multiple elderly and frail participants in an Adult Day Health Center. This is a hands-on caregiving position focused on helping participants maintain their comfort, safety, dignity, and independence.
Responsibilities

Assist participants with ADLs, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and peri-care

Provide mobility and escort assistance

Assist with meals and feeding as needed

Observe and report changes in participant condition

Follow individualized care plans and established safety procedures

Provide companionship and encourage participation in activities

Complete basic care documentation

Collaborate with nurses and other members of the healthcare team
Requirements
-
Active CNA or HHA certification
-
Current BLS/CPR certification
-
Previous experience providing hands-on care to elderly or frail individuals

Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Comfortable supporting multiple participants in a center-based environment
