Electro-Mechanical Assembler / Tester

Job Description

Semiconductor Equipment Manufacturing company in Milpitas, CA, currently seeking an experienced electro-mechanical assembler and tester.

Selected candidate will be responsible for the assembly, testing and repair of electro-mechanical assemblies in accordance with technical documentation.

Required Skills for Electro-Mechanical Assembler / Tester Job:

· Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics and technical drawings；

· Selecting, measuring and aligning parts or subassemblies for production；

· Operating power tools and manufacturing equipment to assemble components；

· Performing quality checks and functional tests to identify defects or inconsistencies

· Troubleshooting assembly issues and reporting malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors；

· Maintaining and calibrating assembly tools and equipment；

· Experience with optical components assembly;

· Knowledge of metric units and imperial units;

· Reading and interpreting documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals;

· Recording production data, part counts and test results in manufacturing logs or software

· Experience in speaking effectively to internal customers, peers and team members;

· Experience working in a team environment;

· Prior experience with optics and semiconductor equipment is a plus;

· Experience with CE Mark, S2, S8, S14, UL Assembly requirements;

· Associate degree preferred, but not required;

· 5+ years experience.
