<p>We are looking for a Hearing Representative to manage workers’ compensation defense cases in California. This role involves handling lien files, working closely with clients, and representing cases before WCAB judges.</p>
<p>You will take ownership of your caseload from start to finish, including evaluation, negotiation, and resolution of claims.</p>
<p>Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Manage a full caseload of lien files from initial review through resolution</li>
<li>Rate permanent disability using AMA Guides and assess apportionment</li>
<li>Represent clients at WCAB hearings, including settlement and status conferences</li>
<li>Negotiate with lien claimants to resolve disputes</li>
<li>Work closely with employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators</li>
<li>Prepare legal documents such as settlement agreements, declarations, and position statements</li>
</ul>
<p>Requirements
<ul>
<li>3+ years of experience in California workers’ compensation defense</li>
<li>Experience working as a Hearing Representative or similar role</li>
<li>Strong understanding of lien handling and permanent disability ratings (AMA Guides)</li>
<li>Experience appearing before WCAB judges</li>
<li>Ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently</li>
<li>Strong communication and negotiation skills</li>
