The Role
The client is hiring a Deployment Strategist to make mission-critical AI work for the world's largest insurers — living inside carrier environments and owning the intersection of technical architecture and executive alignment. The interview process has no technical rounds, but the hire must be genuinely technical, highly structured, and credible with senior client stakeholders. It's framed as the "reverse of an FDE": non-technical client and deployment ownership, paired tightly with engineering.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of technical plus client-facing ownership
- Exceptional executive client presence
- A structured thinker who owns end-to-end execution
- Technical literacy (a CS background or an SWE internship)
- High agency, a founder-mode operator
- On-site in SF
Nice to Haves
- Strong client presence with senior executives — can earn trust in a room of seven-figure insurance executives
- A top-tier consulting background (MBB or equivalent) with a CS or technical degree
- Deployment / solutions / implementation experience at a high-performance environment (e.g., Palantir, Scale, Databricks, or similar)
