Special Education Teacher Job Description:
Elementary SDC Classroom (Grades 6–8) – English & Math Focus
• Provide specialized academic instruction in English and Math to students in a Special Day Class setting.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) aligned to student needs and goals.
• Deliver differentiated instruction designed to support academic growth and skill development.
• Collaborate with general education staff, service providers, administrators, and families to ensure student success.
• Maintain compliance with all special education documentation, progress reporting, and IEP requirements.
• Foster a structured, supportive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and independence.

• Location: Kelseyville, CA
• Dates: 8/31/2026 – 6/16/2027
• Schedule: Full-Time
• Caseload: Approximately 20 students
• Grade Levels: 6th–8th Grade
• Focus Areas: English and Math
Requirements:
• Active California Mild/Moderate Education Specialist Credential required
• Experience supporting students in Special Day Class (SDC) settings preferred
• Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
