We are seeking a highly motivated Territory Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate brings a balanced combination of technical construction industry experience, strong communication skills, and a proactive, self‐driven work ethic. This role requires professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Position Overview

The Territory Sales Representative is responsible for managing and growing an established wholesale distribution network while developing new business relationships with plumbing and mechanical contractors, developers, builders, and key industry stakeholders. This role serves as a trusted technical and sales resource, providing product expertise, project support, and solutions that drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with management to develop territory sales plans and goals.
  • Engage wholesale distribution partners and demonstrate the value of our product lines.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions, including hands‐on product installation demonstrations.
  • Provide installation and sales training for all represented product lines.
  • Promote and present all manufacturer lines; support vendor territory visits as required.
  • Identify emerging market trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Expand the business base by networking, educating, and equipping distributors and outside sales personnel.
  • Participate in company sales meetings and training to enhance professional development.
  • Maintain honesty, integrity, and professionalism in all business interactions.
  • Present a polished, professional image to customers and vendors.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

  • Experience using CRM platforms.
  • Ability to provide timely updates and responses across internal and external communication channels.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong desire to work independently and remotely in the field.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving sales strategies and techniques.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • High ethical standards and consistent integrity.
  • Strong project and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Success‐driven mindset with the ability to analyze, adapt, and thrive in a rapidly growing environment.
  • Prior experience with Osborne Company’s line card products is preferred.

Experience & Education

  • Minimum 3 years of industry experience in outside sales; bachelor’s degree in business or science preferred.
  • High School Diploma required with a minimum of 5 years of industry experience in outside sales.
  • Ability to travel as needed, primarily within the Bay Area.
  • Valid driver’s license required.

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $80,000 – $95,000 (commensurate with experience and qualifications).
  • Bonus Compensation: Based on individual performance and company profitability.
