We are seeking an experienced Lead Low Voltage Technician / Electrician with strong experience in Access Control and Security Systems to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader who can work independently, lead technicians in the field, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure projects are completed safely and to a high standard.
Requirements:
- Proven experience with Access Control systems (required)
- Proven experience with Security Systems and CCTV installations (required)
- Strong low-voltage installation and troubleshooting experience
- Experience with card readers, door hardware, maglocks, electric strikes, and related security devices
- Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and project drawings
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to lead crews and oversee projects from start to finish
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Professional communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to travel as required
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot access control, CCTV, and security systems
- Lead field technicians and ensure quality workmanship
- Coordinate project activities and maintain project timelines
- Perform system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting
- Ensure compliance with safety and company standards
- Represent the company professionally on customer sites
