Job DescriptionCoffee Commissary in Glendale , CA is looking for BAKERS to join our team. We are located on 1419 W Kenneth Rd. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, and engaged and focused on Craft + Quality.
We're looking for experienced bakers part time or full-time must be able to work early mornings!
AM Shift 3:30am-12:00pm,
Responsibilities
- Weigh and measure ingredients
- Mix and blend batters
- Roll, knead, cut, or shape dough to form sweet rolls, pie crusts, tarts, cookies, or other products.
- Set oven temperatures and monitor or modify as needed
- Ice, glaze, and decorate baked goods
- Prepare and maintain inventory
- Clean and sanitize workstation and equipment
Qualifications
- Attention to detail in all aspects of baking
- Dedicated to working as a team towards one goal
- Experience as a Baker a plus

Job Summary

You will be responsible for opening the bakery in the morning and prepping for the day ahead. The ideal candidate has previous bakery experience and a passion for creating delicious breads and pastries. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Open the bakery and prepare for the day ahead
- Clean and sanitize equipment and baking areas
- Bake a variety of breads, cakes, and pastries
- Decorate cakes
- Prepare custom orders
- Track, maintain, and order inventory as necessary
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a baker, pastry chef, or in a similar role is preferred
- Ability to use professional-grade kitchen appliances and equipment
- Knowledge of food safety practices
- Previous experience decorating cakes
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Team player
- Available for early morning shifts
