Job Title: Behavioral Health Technician

Setting: Residential Treatment Center
Client Population: Adolescent, Co-Ed, Dual Diagnosis
Schedule: Part-Time with Flexible On-Call Shifts During the Week
Compensation: $24/hour
Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Behavioral Health Technician to join our team in an adolescent residential treatment setting. This position works with a co-ed dual diagnosis population and is ideal for someone who is flexible, team-oriented, and passionate about supporting adolescents in a structured therapeutic environment.
This is a part-time position with flexible on-call shifts during the week, offering an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to gain or expand experience in behavioral health and residential treatment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct support and supervision to adolescent clients in a residential treatment setting
- Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment for clients at all times
- Assist with daily routines, milieu management, and therapeutic programming
- Support clients with emotional regulation, redirection, and behavioral interventions when needed
- Observe and document client behavior, mood, and participation in programming
- Communicate effectively with clinical and operational staff regarding client needs and concerns
- Assist with transportation, activities, meal support, and other program needs as assigned
- Respond appropriately to crisis situations and follow all safety protocols
- Maintain professional boundaries and uphold confidentiality in accordance with company policy and applicable regulations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in behavioral health, mental health, residential treatment, or working with adolescents preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and supportive in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, flexible, and able to work on-call shifts during the week
- Must be able to pass a LiveScan background check
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred, or willingness to obtain if required
