Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and qualify as a U.S. Person under ITAR requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct internal Quality Management System audits and support the development of in-house auditors.
- Participate in supplier audits to ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, and quality requirements.
- Support QC Inspection by interpreting and applying electronics inspection acceptance criteria.
- Work with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to resolve production and compliance issues.
- Support customer source inspection activities and ensure product and documentation readiness.
- Develop, manage, and maintain corrective and preventive actions, including CAPA, CAR, SCAR, and ICAR activities.
- Schedule, coordinate, and support customer, ISO 13485, NADCAP, and AS9100 audit activities.
- Develop, update, and maintain quality procedures to meet ISO 13485, NADCAP, AS9100, and customer requirements.
- Review, train, and support personnel in the preparation of AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs).
- Lead root cause analysis using tools such as 8D, 5 Whys, and Ishikawa/Fishbone diagrams.
- Support continuous improvement, process reliability, and long-term quality performance.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 7 years of Quality Engineering experience.
- Experience in Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS), PCBA, or printed circuit board assembly manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of electronics inspection methods, acceptance criteria, and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of IPC standards, including IPC-A-610 and IPC-A-600.
- Knowledge of AS9100D, MIL-STD-883, and aerospace/defense quality requirements.
- Experience with Quality Management Systems, SPC, MSA, Six Sigma, Lean, and 5S.
- Experience with corrective actions, preventive actions, root cause analysis, and quality documentation.
- Ability to train, mentor, and support inspectors, peers, and cross-functional team members.
- Strong communication, documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong computer skills, including quality, data analysis, and productivity software.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident.
Preferred Qualifications
- IPC-A-610 Certification.
- IPC J-STD-001 Certification.
- Knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A-620.
- Experience with NASA 8739 and IPC Space Addendum.
- Lean Six Sigma Certification.
- PMP Certification.
