TheResidentialCarpentryForemanisresponsibleforplanning,coordinating,andsupervisingdailyfieldoperationswhileactivelyparticipatingincarpentrywork.Thispositionensuresprojectsarecompletedsafely,efficiently,onschedule,andtoSRFreeman'shighstandardsofqualityandcraftsmanship.

EssentialDutiesandResponsibilities
CrewLeadership

- Leadandsupervisecrewsofcarpenters,apprentices,andlaborers.
- Conductdailykickoffmeetingsandcommunicateproductiongoals.
- Assignworktasksandestablishdailyexpectations.
- Monitorcrewperformance,productivity,andquality.
- Coach,mentor,andtrainlessexperiencedcarpenters.
- Fosteraccountability,teamwork,andprofessionaldevelopment.
- Addressfieldperformanceissuesandcommunicateconcernstomanagement.
ProjectCoordination&Planning

- Executeandmaintainprojectschedulesandtwo-weeklook-aheadplans.
- Coordinatemanpower,materials,equipment,anddeliveries.
- Reviewblueprints,specifications,RFIs,sketches,andchangeorders.
- Anticipateprojectchallengesanddevelopproactivesolutions.
- CoordinateactivitieswithProjectManagers,Superintendents,GeneralContractors,architects,engineers,homeowners,andsubcontractors.
- Ensureprojectsremainonscheduleandwithinscope.
QualityControl

Experience

- PreviousexperienceasaForeman,LeadCarpenter,CrewLead,Superintendent,orsimilarleadershiprolepreferred.
- Experiencemanaginganddirectingconstructioncrews.
- Experienceworkingonluxurycustomresidentialconstructionprojects.
