CMM Programmer (Zeiss Calypso)

• TERM - Contract - 3-6 Months, Possible temp to Perm Conversion.
• LOCATION _ East Bay Area ( Union City, CA area - WORK IS ONSITE )
• SHIFT - Monday thru Friday, DAY shift

We are seeking a CMM Programmer with experience Programming for Zeiss tools, using CALYPSO, in a role supporting precision manufacturing by developing and executing measurement programs that verify complex components. You will work closely with engineering and quality teams to ensure dimensional accuracy throughout production.

PLEASE NOTE - This is a TEMP role for a term of 3-6 months, but it does have the potential to convert to a direct hire/Perm employee

• Create, modify, and optimize CMM programs using Zeiss Calypso software
• Perform dimensional inspections on production and prototype parts
• Interpret engineering drawings, GD and T requirements, and customer specifications
• Document inspection results and communicate findings to engineering and production teams
• Maintain CMM equipment, fixtures, and calibration standards
• Troubleshoot measurement issues and recommend corrective actions
• Support continuous improvement efforts related to inspection processes
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to resolve quality concerns

Experience and Education Requirements

• Hands on experience programming CMMs with Zeiss Calypso
• Strong understanding of GD and T principles and blueprint interpretation
• Background in precision machining, manufacturing, or quality assurance
• Ability to analyze measurement data and identify trends or deviations
• Familiarity with metrology tools such as height gages, micrometers, and indicators
• High school diploma required; technical certificate or associate degree preferred
• Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
