Job DescriptionJoin the small and close-knit team at Whites Landing Camp on Catalina Island and experience a unique season by the ocean. This versatile maintenance role is perfect for someone hands-on, adaptable, and excited to live and work in a remote coastal environment surrounded by nature.

On-site accommodation provided for free.
Remote beachfront location — accessible only by boat.
Your Missions:Maintenance (main role):
- Perform general maintenance and repair tasks across the property and guest facilities.
- Help maintain equipment, boat, carts, and outdoor infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and assist with preventive maintenance.
- Support site improvements, repairs, and seasonal setup projects.
- Assist with construction, carpentry, painting, plumbing, or basic electrical tasks when needed.
Marine & Outdoor Support:
- Support outdoor activities and help maintain recreational equipment.
- Fishing, boating, or marine experience is a strong plus.
Versatile Team Support:
- Occasionally support housekeeping, food service, or guest activities depending on operational needs.
- Help maintain clean and welcoming shared spaces around camp.
- Work closely with the team to ensure smooth daily operations and a great guest experience.
Your Profile:
- Hands-on, resourceful, and comfortable solving practical problems.
- Experience in maintenance, construction, mechanical work, or outdoor hospitality.
- Mechanical skills are highly valued.
- Experience with boats, fishing, or marine environments is a big plus.
- Comfortable working outdoors in a remote natural setting.
- Versatile and adaptable — every day is different.
- Positive attitude, team spirit, and willingness to help wherever needed.
