Job Description

For nearly 60 years, ECOS has been a pioneer in sustainable innovation, proving that a company can be both purpose-driven and performance-oriented. As a Climate Positive manufacturer and leader in green chemistry, we are committed to creating products and experiences that make homes healthier and the planet safer. Our mission is simple but bold: to inspire people to live in harmony with the Earth, one conscious choice at a time.

This role brings ECOS to life through media and content with a focus on driving meaningful brand visibility that is intentional, credible, and on-brand. We’re looking for a strategic communications leader with a passion for storytelling, media relations, and brand reputation. You’ll shape how the world sees ECOS and lead PR strategies that build influence, trust, and impact.

Key Responsibilities

Media, Press & Visibility

· Develop and execute PR strategies that enhance brand reputation and visibility

· Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, influencers, and media outlets

· Proactively pitch ECOS stories, events, and leadership to secure earned media

· Craft and deliver compelling messages across all channels and audiences

· Identify opportunities to generate buzz and cultural relevance

· Manage crisis communications and protect brand integrity

· Assist in managing external PR agency and deliverables

· Monitor industry trends and identify opportunities for thought leadership

· Help ensure branded events are positioned as externally relevant and newsworthy

· Identify, negotiate, and help coordinate celebrity and high-profile talent participation where desired, ensuring strong brand alignment

Thought Leadership & Executive Visibility

· Help elevate the CEO’s thought leadership and external presence

· Identify and support opportunities for media, speaking engagements, and industry visibility

Brand Stewardship

· Ensure all earned media, events, and opportunities are on-brand and aligned with ECOS’ values

· Evaluate opportunities through a brand-first lens, not just reach or exposure

· Provide recommendations on what we should and shouldn’t do

· Act as a trusted partner to leadership, helping guide brand-right decisions

Collaboration

  • Partner across Marketing, Social, Sales, Creative, and Sustainability teams
  • Ensure alignment and integration across all touchpoints

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of progressive PR experience
  • Experience with media outreach, press, or earned visibility
  • Deep understanding of media landscape and PR best practices
  • Proven track record in securing top-tier media coverage
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong strategic thinker with exceptional attention to detail
  • Proven ability to create engaging, brand-aligned experiences and coverage
  • Strong judgment and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable working closely with senior leadership
  • Organized, adaptable, and solutions-oriented
