What We're Looking For:
- Experience working with children or adolescents in an academic or childcare environment
- Ability to support academic, behavioral, and social development under teacher supervision
- Strong communication skills for interacting with students, teachers, and staff
- Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude in diverse classroom settings
- Dependable, with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Familiarity with special education or classroom management (preferred, but not required)
Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in delivering lessons and implementing instructional activities
- Provide support and encouragement to students in both group and one-on-one settings
- Help maintain an inclusive and safe classroom environment
- Accompany students during various activities, transitions, and on field trips as needed
- Support students who require additional attention with assignments or classroom behavior
- Contribute to the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs), if applicable
- Perform clerical or organizational tasks to help classroom efficiency
