Multiquip is seeking a strategic and business-minded Product Manager- Lifecycle & Operations to lead a portfolio of industrial power products. This role combines product management, project leadership, market strategy, and operational collaboration to drive growth and profitability across the product lifecycle.
The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in product and project management, experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment, and the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives from concept through commercialization. Experience with diesel-powered generators, power generation equipment, or related industrial products is preferred but not required.
You will work closely with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, Service, and suppliers to identify market opportunities, launch new products, improve product performance, and deliver solutions that create value for both customers and the business.
What You'll Be Responsible For
- Manage assigned power equipment product lines from launch through lifecycle optimization.
- Develop product strategies and roadmaps that align with business and customer needs.
- Gather customer, market, and competitive insights to identify growth opportunities.
- Partner with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, and Service teams to bring new products to market.
- Support product enhancements, cost reduction initiatives, quality improvements, and inventory planning.
- Work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve product issues and improve overall performance.
- Analyze product and market performance to support pricing, profitability, and strategic decisions.
- Serve as a product expert by supporting customer training, sales initiatives, and industry events.
What We're Looking For
- 3-5 years of experience in Product Management, Operations Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field within an industrial or technical environment. This role drives strategic product planning to meet marketing, sales, financial, and corporate growth objectives in the power generation equipment market (including generators, power solutions, and related industrial applications). The Product Manager serves as the voice of the customer and market, providing deep product and application expertise to internal teams (Sales, Engineering, Service, Parts, Marketing) and external partners/customers.
- Proven experience managing products through the full lifecycle, including planning, launch, enhancement, and profitability optimization.
- Strong project management capabilities with experience leading cross-functional initiatives, driving timelines, coordinating stakeholders, and delivering results.
- Experience developing business cases, product roadmaps, market strategies, and go-to-market plans.
- Background in industrial equipment, power generation, construction equipment, manufacturing, rental equipment, or related industries.
- Familiarity with generators, power systems, or industrial equipment applications preferred.
- Ability to translate customer needs, operational requirements, and business objectives into product decisions and growth opportunities.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive pricing, product, inventory, and market decisions.
- Effective communicator capable of influencing cross-functional teams including Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, Service, and Finance.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Compensation & Benefits
- $90,000.00-$115,000.00/Yr
