Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor and Delivery

Location: Eureka, California
Duration: 13 Weeks

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional care to mothers and newborns throughout the childbirth process. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure safe and positive outcomes for both mother and baby.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring, delivering, and postpartum patients.
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery.
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean section procedures.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed.
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, recovery, and newborn care.
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.

Requirements

• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor and Delivery experience preferred.
• First-time travelers accepted.
• Strong maternal-child nursing skills and clinical judgment.
• Ability to float within scope of practice based on facility needs.
• Experience caring for high-risk obstetric patients preferred.
