State of the Art Santa Monica Imaging Center is looking for a Per-Diem CT Technologist. This opportunity is located at our multi-modality outpatient practice in Santa Monica, CA. Our center provides a variety of diagnostic imaging services to patients in a friendly and comfortable environment.
DUTIES:
- Perform high quality CT’s and some general x-ray exams.
- Monitor patient’s well-being during exam; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
- Guide patients through this sometimes difficult process by kindly taking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
- Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
- Perform QC tracking. Participate in projects and/or meetings, and complete other tasks as assigned by management.
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Night shift
- Rotating shift
Work Location: In person
Requirements:
We’re looking for experienced and professional candidates who are able to independently perform all outpatient radiologic exams and procedures with high quality results. Radiologic Technologist job candidates must possess:
- AART(R)(CT) certification
- CA State Licenses in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology, CPR Certification and venipuncture.
- 2 years' minimum experience required with thorough knowledge of CT and Radiologic Practices and Procedures
- Candidate must show flexibility to help with morning and/or evening coverage.
