Applicants should have 3+ years of refractory experience and be proficient in one or more of the following:
- Forming and pouring refractory
- Ramming
- Guniting (highly preferred)
- Shotcrete
- Casting
- Refractory brick installation (a major plus)
- Concrete experience (preferred)
Job Duties
- Demolition and removal of existing refractory.
- Build and install forms.
- Mix, pour, ram, and install refractory materials.
- Install refractory brick and other refractory systems.
- Operate and maintain common construction equipment and hand tools, including grinders, measuring tapes, air compressors, mixers, and other power tools.
- Work safely while following company safety policies and procedures.
- Travel to customer job sites as required.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of industrial refractory experience.
- Reliable transportation.
- Must be available to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
- Must be physically able to lift heavy materials and work in demanding industrial environments.
