Pay Frequency: Weekly payAbout the RoleShareSTAFF is hiring a Parts Clerk to support the Maintenance department at a Livingston-based food and beverage ingredient manufacturing facility. This role keeps the parts room organized and operational – receiving and verifying shipments, issuing parts to maintenance technicians, monitoring stock levels, and documenting transactions in the facility’s CMMS. The Parts Clerk plays a direct role in minimizing maintenance downtime. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for candidates who perform well during the assignment.Available SchedulesThis opening can be filled on any of the following shifts:
- 1st Shift: Thursday – Monday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (off Tuesday and Wednesday)
- 2nd Shift: Saturday – Wednesday, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM (off Thursday and Friday)
- 3rd Shift: Monday – Friday, 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM (off Saturday and Sunday)
- Relief Shift: Rotating coverage across all three shifts (off Monday plus one additional day)
What You'll Do
- Maintain, organize, and clean the parts room and associated inventory
- Receive, verify, and store incoming parts; document shipments accurately
- Issue parts to maintenance technicians and log transactions in the CMMS system
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate reorders with the Maintenance team
- Perform regular cycle counts and assist with full physical inventories
- Label, categorize, and shelve parts; communicate with vendors on orders, lead times, and availability
- Assist with purchase requisitions and maintain order records
- Track usage trends and help identify cost-reduction opportunities
What You Bring – Required
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year of inventory control, parts management, or warehouse operations experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Experience with inventory or CMMS systems
- Attention to detail and accurate record-keeping
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work in a warehouse or shop environment
- Available to work the full scheduled hours of the chosen shift
What You Bring – Preferred
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with mechanical or electrical parts used in industrial food processing equipment
- Experience with a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Forklift certification, or willingness to certify
