Important Notes
- Temporary contract opportunity with immediate start.
- Weekly long-haul route to Arizona every Monday.
- Local deliveries in Southern California Tuesday through Friday.
- Candidate must be comfortable with both driving and warehouse duties.
- Flexible availability is required as assignment length may vary.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A License with all required endorsements.
- Valid DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.
- 1–3 years of Class A commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record and ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Construction, industrial equipment, or rental equipment experience is a plus.
- Basic computer and documentation skills.
- Mechanical aptitude preferred.
Driver Compliance Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A license.
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Pre-employment drug test.
- FMCSA Clearinghouse Full Query.
- Driver Qualification File (DQF) documentation including:

- Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- Safety Performance History
- Road Test Certificate
- Drug screening results
- Medical certification
- Annual driving record review
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle for long-haul and local deliveries.
- Complete weekly deliveries to Arizona and local branch deliveries throughout Southern California.
- Load, unload, and secure equipment using proper DOT load securement practices.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment.
- Inspect vehicles before and after trips and report maintenance issues.
- Maintain driver logs, mileage, fuel records, and delivery documentation.
- Obtain customer signatures and complete delivery paperwork accurately.
- Assist with equipment setup and customer instructions when required.
- Support warehouse and yard operations during non-driving hours.
- Maintain communication with dispatch regarding schedules and delivery status.
- Follow all FMCSA, DOT, OSHA, and company safety regulations.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with flatbed trailers and load securement.
- Forklift certification.
- Experience operating telehandlers, skid steers, loaders, or similar heavy equipment.
- HDPE pipe fusion experience is a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints and equipment layouts.
- Strong communication, reliability, and customer service skills.
