The Spirit of the Position:

A Parking Ambassador will create a welcoming atmosphere for our customers and clients. Ambassador's will greet the SOFI public in a manner consistent with the LAZ Way, serving as a representative displaying; honesty, integrity, accountability, teamwork, and demonstrating excellent communication skills.

LAZResponsibilities:

  • Energetically greet guests with a smile and friendly face as they arrive to park their vehicle or access a shuttle bus.
  • Assist customers with directions: to designated garages
  • Promote good customer relations by consistently providing premier customer satisfaction with a friendly demeanor, can-do attitude, and willingness to help at all times.
  • Occasionally process credit card transactions using LAZ provided electronic equipment.
  • Keep parking location clean sweeping, picking up trash, emptying trash cans and maintaining parking equipment.
  • Assist Operations Team with equipment setup & removal.
  • Be in correct LAZ Parking uniform, on time, and ready to work when scheduled.
  • Work with and without supervision and follow directions of supervisors when requests are made.
  • Make sure the location is safe by reporting any potentially hazardous conditions to your supervisor or LAZ management.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

A LAZ Parking Ambassador plays a significant role in the success of the company. They are the first person our clients and customers see upon arrival, and the last person our clients & customers see when they depart. A warm welcome, smiling face, and professional demeanor are of the utmost importance.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Experience:*
  • Welcomed, but not required. We will train you.
  • Strong customer service skills and abilities.
  • Ability to mitigate and lead others to overcome challenges (Never EverGive Up Attitude).
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with all levels ofthe organization and outside customers and clientele. Ability to interpret policies, procedures, and standard businesspractices.
  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency and timeliness.

Skills:

Willingness to be flexible, work multiple facility locations.

Ability to handle challenging and at times, emotionally chargedsituations.

Ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English language.

Physical Demands:

  • Standing and walking for long periods of time (95 to 100% of the time)
  • Lifting and moving parking equipment Sweeping and changing signage when needed.
