Job Summary
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to support patient care and clinical operations in a busy outpatient clinic setting. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical and administrative skills, be proficient with Epic EMR, and demonstrate excellent venipuncture abilities while providing high-quality patient care.
Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED
-
Medical Assistant Diploma from a DAPIP Accredited Program
-
Current BLS Certification (AHA or ARC)
-
Minimum 2 Years of Medical Assistant Experience
-
Epic EMR Experience Required
-
Venipuncture Proficiency Required
Responsibilities
-
Perform venipuncture and specimen collection.
-
Obtain and record vital signs.
-
Assist providers with patient examinations and procedures.
-
Prepare examination rooms and maintain clinical supplies.
-
Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow.
-
Update patient demographics and medical information.
-
Document patient information accurately in Epic EMR.
-
Maintain infection control and patient safety standards.
-
Provide patient education and support.
-
Float to affiliated Internal Medicine and Family Medicine clinics as needed.
