Billing Specialist Lead
North Bay is seeking a Billing Specialist Lead to join our team. This position is primarily remote with occasional in-office days in the Bay Area and may transition to a primarily in-office role in the future.
The Billing Specialist Lead will oversee the insurance AR cycle, including claim filing, denial management, authorizations, LOAs, insurance contracting, and timely follow-up on patient injuries. This role also provides leadership, guidance, and day-to-day support to the billing team while partnering with management to improve billing operations and revenue cycle performance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Approximately 5 years of medical billing experience.
- Previous leadership or team lead experience preferred.
- Medical coding certification preferred, but not required.
- A collaborative approach and a passion for gender-affirming healthcare.
