Job DescriptionPainter – Short-Term Summer Project
Location: Stanford, CA
Pay: $25–$27/hr
Shift: Day Shift
Duration: 3–4 Month Assignment

Experience Required
We are hiring an experienced Painter for a short-term summer project based primarily in Stanford, CA, with some work at nearby Bay Area job sites. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong commercial painting experience who is looking for a solid project with steady day shift hours and the chance to work on well-known properties.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Interior and exterior painting on commercial and residential-style projects
- Surface prep including sanding, scraping, plastering, and sheetrock finishing
- Applying paint, stain, and varnish using brushes, rollers, and other painter tools
- Mixing and matching paint colors to meet project needs
- Waterproofing surfaces and completing finish work
- Refinishing furniture and fixtures as needed
- Traveling between nearby job sites including Stanford, Palo Alto, Mountain View, Menlo Park, and Sunnyvale
- Working from daily work orders and adjusting to changing project needs
What We’re Looking For
- At least 3 years of recent painting experience
- Experience with commercial painting
- Strong skills in interior and exterior painting
- Experience with surface prep, plastering, and sheetrock finishing
- Ability to work independently and produce clean, high-quality work
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in different weather conditions
- Flexible to work overtime or weekends if needed

- Reliable vehicle required
- Basic painter tools required
- Must be able to travel between job sites
- Must be comfortable bringing your own grip bag/tools
- Must be dependable, flexible, and ready to move where needed based on daily assignments

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
