Position Summary
\n We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist to join a Magnet-designated acute care hospital. The IR Tech will assist physicians with minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures while ensuring patient safety, maintaining sterile technique, and producing high-quality imaging in a fast-paced procedural environment.
Key Responsibilities\n

- Assist physicians during a variety of interventional radiology procedures, including vascular, neurological, and gastrointestinal interventions.
- Operate fluoroscopy and radiographic imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Prepare procedure rooms, sterile fields, and specialized equipment before each case.
- Monitor patient condition throughout procedures and assist with patient positioning and safety.
- Administer contrast media under physician direction and in accordance with facility policies.
- Ensure proper documentation and image management using Epic EMR.
- Maintain compliance with radiation safety standards, infection control practices, and hospital protocols.
- Participate in weekday and weekend on-call rotations for emergency procedures.

Minimum Requirements\n
- \n
- ARRT Certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
- Active State Radiologic Technologist License
- BLS Certification (AHA)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Interventional Radiology Technologist experience
- Strong knowledge of sterile technique, fluoroscopy, and interventional procedures
