A mission-driven nonprofit organization in Burbank, CA is seeking an Operations Coordinator to support day-to-day administrative, human resources, finance, and operational functions. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented administrative professional who enjoys variety, accuracy, and contributing to an organization with a meaningful community-focused mission.
The Operations Coordinator will work closely with Human Resources, Finance, and Operations leadership, supporting employee administration, bookkeeping, vendor coordination, IT-related processes, and internal systems. Key Responsibilities
- Support new hire orientation, employee paperwork, personnel file creation, time off request administration, and HRIS employee updates.
- Respond to routine applicant and employee questions regarding policies, benefits, hiring processes, and employee information, escalating complex matters as needed.
- Assist with bookkeeping functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash disbursements, receipts, data entry, reimbursements, and check printing.
- Prepare first drafts of financial statements, assist with vendor invoices and purchase orders, and draft vendor contracts using approved templates.
- Help maintain IT and computer systems, including network support coordination, backup systems, new employee email accounts, and telecommunications.
- Manage distribution and check-in/check-out processes for supplies, instruments, equipment, resources, and reference materials, and prepare data for Salesforce uploads.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $45,000 to $50,000 per year.
