Johnson's Auto Repair is seeking an experienced, highly skilled Automotive Technician who is already VSSI Certified and holds ASE A4 (Suspension & Steering), A5 (Brakes), and A6 (Electrical/Electronic Systems) certifications.

We are looking for a technician who can diagnose accurately, work efficiently, and take pride in delivering exceptional repairs and customer service.

What You'll Do

• Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on domestic, Asian, and light-duty European vehicles
• Diagnose suspension, steering, brake, electrical, and drivability concerns
• Perform vehicle inspections and provide accurate repair recommendations
• Utilize scan tools, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic equipment effectively
• Complete repairs correctly the first time
• Maintain detailed repair documentation
• Collaborate with service advisors and management to provide outstanding customer experiences
• Mentor junior technicians when needed

Required Qualifications

• Current VSSI Certification (required)
• ASE A4 – Suspension & Steering Certification
• ASE A5 – Brakes Certification
• ASE A6 – Electrical/Electronic Systems Certification
• Minimum 3 years professional automotive repair experience
• Strong diagnostic abilities
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Own professional-grade tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional ASE Certifications
• Smog License
• Brake & Lamp Certification
• Experience with ADAS systems
• Hybrid and EV diagnostic experience
• Shop management or leadership experience
