General Maintenance Worker – Camp Pendleton, CA
Seeking an experienced General Maintenance Worker to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility equipment, buildings, and grounds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair HVAC systems, pumps, motors, compressors, overhead doors, gates, lighting, and related equipment.
- Complete facility and grounds maintenance, including lawn care and equipment operation.
- Perform work orders, preventive maintenance, and equipment inspections.
- Coordinate with outside contractors when needed.
- Maintain maintenance records and work order documentation.
- Follow all environmental, health, and safety requirements, including OSHA standards.
- Support operational tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience.
- Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Experience with 240V single- and three-phase electrical systems preferred.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Must pass background check and drug screening.
- Ability to obtain OSHA 30 certification within 30 days of hire.
Work Environment:
- Indoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
- Exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and odors.
- May require overtime, weekends, and on-call assignments.
Position Details:
- Full-time, Monday–Friday with overtime and weekend work as needed.
- Location: Camp Pendleton, CA.
- SCA position with an additional $5.09/hour Health & Welfare benefit.
