RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the Service Manager in overseeing daily service department operations
- Greet customers and provide a professional, welcoming service experience
- Help manage repair orders, workflow, and technician assignments
- Communicate vehicle status updates to customers in a timely and clear manner
- Ensure accurate documentation of repairs, warranties, and service recommendations
- Support advisors and technicians to maintain productivity and efficiency
- Resolve customer concerns with professionalism and urgency
- Promote recommended maintenance and service opportunities
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in an automotive service advisor or assistant service manager role preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Knowledge of automotive systems and repair processes
- Ability to multitask and work in a high-volume environment
- Proficiency with dealership management systems (DMS) is a plus
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
COMPENSATION:
The Senior Service Technician Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $32.00 and $50.00. The position may also pay a production bonus based on individual or team performance that may range from $0.00 (if baseline benchmarks are not met) without any fixed upper limit.
- Hourly and Flat Rate based on experience and certifications.
