Position Overview:
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Veterinarian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be devoted to providing high-quality veterinary care, educating pet owners, and promoting overall animal health and well-being. This is a great opportunity for a veterinarian seeking a collaborative and supportive work environment in a tight-knit community setting.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive examinations on small animals, including dogs and cats.
- Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions and injuries.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to the individual needs of each patient.
- Conduct surgical procedures, including spays, neuters, and other soft tissue surgeries.
- Interpret diagnostic tests and provide clear explanations to pet owners.
- Administer vaccinations, medications, and preventative care.
- Educate pet owners on animal health, nutrition, and wellness.
- Maintain accurate medical records and communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure excellent patient care.
- Stay current with veterinary trends, techniques, and best practices.
- Participate in community outreach programs and client education events.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school.
- Valid California veterinary license.
- Experience in small animal practice is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to animal care and client interaction.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to continuing education and professional development.
