REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 5 yrs as an Accounts Payable required
- Sage Intacct is required
Essential Job Functions:
- Ensuring the timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, employee reimbursements, and vendor reconciliations, while reviewing and approving payment batches and maintaining strong internal controls and compliance with organizational policies
- Manage vendor relationships by resolving payment discrepancies and responding to inquiries, while overseeing weekly check runs and electronic payments, maintaining accurate payment records, reconciling the Accounts Payable subledger to the general ledger, supporting month end and year end close processes, and preparing financial records and audit documentation to ensure compliance with organizational and grant requirements
- Collaborate with Finance, Purchasing, Program, and Grant Management teams to ensure expenditures are properly authorized, accurately coded, and charged to the appropriate funding sources while maintaining vendor records, including W9 documentation, and overseeing annual IRS Form 1099 reporting to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Works closely with All Departments, (External) Interacts with Vendors, Auditors, Banks, etc.
- Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned.
