What You'll Do
As a Caregiver, you'll provide personalized support that helps veterans and seniors maintain their dignity and independence:
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping
- Help with shopping, transportation, and errands
- Assist with ambulation, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises
- Provide medication reminders and report changes in condition
- Maintain a safe and comfortable home environment
- Engage clients in hobbies, games, reading, and meaningful activities
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Active California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration
- Six months of caregiving or healthcare experience preferred
- CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid California driver's license
- Reliable transportation and auto insurance
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Compassionate, dependable, and committed to helping others
