If you are Senior Associate Trial Attorney with 10+ years of experience in Civil Litigation please read on! Our firm handles primarily insurance defense, personal injury, construction defect and employment and business disputes.

In order to maximize our combined resources and ensure responsibility, we work in teams, with Partners managing teams of associates. Every aspect of a particular action is overseen and managed by a single Partner. This line of command guarantees a timely reaction to any requirements or issues raised by our clients. Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Attorney to lead and manage complex civil litigation matters from intake through trial. The role will focus on delivering superior courtroom advocacy, developing case strategies, supervising junior attorneys, and maintaining strong client relationships. The successful candidate will have deep trial experience, excellent litigation skills, and the ability to handle a diverse civil caseload including defense and Plaintiff matters as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all phases of litigation including case assessment, pleadings, discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and courtroom advocacy
  • Develop and implement case strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients through trial or negotiated resolution
  • Conduct and defend depositions, prepare witnesses, and handle courtroom examinations and arguments
  • Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, briefs, settlement agreements, and other litigation documents
  • Manage a docket of complex civil matters, prioritize tasks to meet deadlines, and maintain accurate case files and time/billing records
  • Supervise, mentor, and train associates, paralegals, and support staff; delegate tasks and provide constructive feedback
  • Engage with clients to provide clear, practical legal advice and regular case updates; build and maintain client trust
  • Coordinate with experts, investigators, and outside counsel to support case development and litigation strategy
  • Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes where appropriate while protecting client interests
  • Participate in business development activities, contribute to practice growth, and represent the firm professionally in the legal community

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with the state bar
  • Minimum 10 years of civil litigation experience with substantial trial experience and a proven record of courtroom success
  • Demonstrated expertise in litigation, attorney duties, and conducting trials (required)
  • Strong legal research, drafting, and oral advocacy skills; ability to distill complex issues into persuasive arguments
  • Experience supervising and mentoring junior attorneys and staff; proven leadership and case management ability
  • Excellent client counseling, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Capacity to manage a heavy caseload, prioritize effectively, and meet strict deadlines
  • High ethical standards and commitment to professional conduct and firm policies
  • Nice-to-have: experience or familiarity with Personal Injury, Associate-level responsibilities, Employment defense matters, Defense-oriented practice, defending Accident and Slip-and-Fall claims, motor vehicle/Auto cases, Construction defect litigation, and other Civil matters
