We're looking for an organized, proactive, and customer-focused Project Manager to oversee residential window and door replacement projects from signed contract through final installation. Position Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for managing multiple residential window and door projects simultaneously from contract execution through project completion. This role serves as the primary point of contact for homeowners while coordinating with sales, manufacturers, installers, and internal teams to ensure every project is completed accurately, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Success in this role requires exceptional organization, attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to anticipate and resolve issues before they impact the customer experience.



Key Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Manage multiple residential window and door replacement projects simultaneously.
  • Oversee projects from contract approval through final installation and project closeout.
  • Monitor project timelines and proactively address delays or scheduling conflicts.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with company quality standards.

Customer Communication

  • Serve as the primary point of contact throughout each project.
  • Provide customers with timely updates regarding scheduling, product availability, and installation.
  • Address customer questions and concerns professionally and promptly.
  • Build positive relationships that result in exceptional customer satisfaction.

Ordering & Vendor Coordination

  • Review contracts, measurements, and specifications prior to ordering materials.
  • Process window and door orders with multiple manufacturers.
  • Monitor manufacturing lead times and coordinate deliveries.
  • Work closely with vendors to resolve order discrepancies or delays.

Scheduling & Coordination

  • Coordinate installation schedules with internal teams.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Installation, Manufacturing, and Service departments to keep projects moving efficiently.
  • Ensure installers have the information and materials needed for successful project completion.

Problem Solving

  • Identify potential issues before they become project delays.
  • Manage change orders and schedule adjustments.
  • Coordinate warranty claims and service requests when necessary.
  • Resolve unexpected challenges while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Documentation & Administration

  • Maintain accurate project documentation, notes, schedules, and customer communications.
  • Update project management and CRM software with current project status.
  • Track project progress and ensure all required documentation is completed.



Qualifications

Required

  • 2+ years of experience in project management, project coordination, operations, or construction management.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • High attention to detail with excellent follow-through.

Preferred

  • Experience in residential construction, remodeling, windows and doors, or related trades.
  • Experience working with multiple manufacturers and vendors.
  • Familiarity with CRM or project management software.
  • Knowledge of residential construction processes and scheduling.
